When I saw this skirt, the first thing that came to my mind was “girly” and “party” so I decided to go with that theme. Since the skirt is already really bold and in your face gold, I decided to pair it with a peach/tan gold sparkly tank because this is for a fancy party after all. The sparkles are subtle enough that it won’t distract from the skirt, but still fancy enough to go with the flow of the skirt. The earrings go perfectly with the whole outfit, because they’re bold and they’re girly which is what this outfit screams. The earrings are of the same color as part of the skirt, but since they’re hoops and don’t have a very bold print, they’re okay to wear with the outfit. At the same time, even though they’re simple because they’re hoops, they’re still bold because of the color and how chunky they are, so they go with the outfit; they’re bold yet simple. Because the skirt and tank top are pretty bold, I decided to skip the necklace and go for some bracelets. The beaded bracelets are perfect because they’re girly and fun. The heart on one of the bracelets is what makes the bracelets girly, and the color is what makes them “fun.” A simple purse with a long gold chain is perfect because the rest of the outfit is really bold. To tone the outfit down a bit, I chose a cream colored purse which goes with the gold because it has a more warm undertone to it. And I still incorporated some gold with the gold chain of the purse. I put two heels options, the gold strappy ones would work for if your going to an extravagant party, because those are more fancy than the wedges. They go perfectly because of the color and like I said, they go with the party theme of this outfit. The wedges would work if you want to tone down the outftit a bit. Even though they’re not gold or cream, they still work because the taupe color leans more towards a neutral color, and has some brown undertones which goes with the color gold. Also, they’re really girly because of the cream bow on the side and the fact that they’re peep toes.
