Fallin into simplicity

Lauren Conrad style
Want to add in some fall style but aren’t ready to let go of color? Then this muted light purple tunic is perfect for you.  Since the purple is a muted color and has some brown/grey undertones, it is more of a fall color. Also, since it has a leaf pattern on the neckline and the bottom, it ties in with the fall theme well. The fact that it’s long sleeve but a lighter material is what makes it appropriate as well. I chose black leggings since the color stands out against the tunic but is still a neutral color. Since this look was loosely based off of Lauren Conrad’s simple style, I went with minimal jewelry. I started off with the charm bracelet since it’s interesting because of the different charms yet simple since it’s a light color and the chain links aren’t too big. I decided to go with some simple crystal studs since the focus of the outfit was the tunic and Lauren Conrad doesn’t really ever wear earrings. I chose a grey purse because the tunic has some grey undertones and grey and purple look amazing together. For the flats, I chose them in a grey/purple color to go with the tunic. Even though the tunic and the flats aren’t the exact same shade, it works because the flats are basically a deeper shade of the tunic. Even if you’re style is simplistic, don’t be afraid to wear more than one colored item. The way to pull it off is to wear the colorful clothing with shoes of the same shade or in the same shade family.
