Hey guys! I am so sorry I have been completely absent the last few months. But I just wanted to say, I’m going to change the direction of my blog. I just don’t get as inspired to make the outfit posts on Polyvore, so I’m going to post my own personal artwork/fashion drawings, outfit posts, and from time to time the outfit posts as well.Every other part of my blog will be similar though.
Hello to all that read my blog! You’re probably wondering where I have been for the past five months right? I am so sorry that I haven’t posted at all in these past few months. I was just really busy with all of my classes and I was just feeling really uninspired because of personal issues so I didn’t want to just put posts for the sake of posting since I knew I wouldn’t have had my best work. But from now on I really am going to try and post more often.
So I’ve finally finished with all of my classes and this little black dress is one of my final projects and I’m really proud of how it turned out. For our class we all had to use this black satin fabric and I was coming up with designs and I decided I wanted to push myself and do something a little different. I usually go for the fun, flirty look with a pleated skirt or something similar to that but I decided to do a more fitted look with puff sleeves. I was inspired to do the sleeves in that style from seeing all the different styles of sleeves from one of my design classes.
So here is one of my favorite outfits I wore recently, and normally I would never have worn an outfit like this, a short crop top with high waisted shorts since I didn’t think crop tops like this would flatter my body shape. But as I put this on, I realized that this outfit was actually really flattering on me and I really liked how my body looked. Now, I did put this outfit together in my head already as the perfect pair, but I was unsure of how it would look on me. So, I urge all of you fashionistas to step out of your comfort zone once in awhile. You never know, you might surprise yourself and love an outfit or garment you never thought you could pull off.
Happy New Years Everyone! I know this is a litle late, but I figured better late than never right? So one of my Resolutions for this year is to post more often on here. I’m going to really try and post once a week if I can. It’s really hard sometimes to post more often or even keep that up just because I’m a fashion design student and the workload gets to be a lot but I will try to keep this. So tell me, what are some of your New Years Resolutions?
So ever since I’ve been in Hawaii(for vacation) I’ve been loving making my skin really glowy and especially highlighting my cheekbones since most of the time we’re on the beach so I’ve been loving just slapping on
some cream eyeshadow, liner and mascara with some nude lipstick or gloss.
